LAKELAND RUGWASH was established in February 2010 when when word spread that we had the facilities to service rugs. Prior to that we had long been servicing our own rugs and those of friends.

Being horse owners ourselves ensures we understand your needs. Annette has had a lifetime involvement in breeding, breaking and schooling, competition and showing and is an international judge.

We know your rug is a vital part of your equipment and will return it to you in the shortest possible time.

Heavy rugs will always take longer to dry than others but it is well worth waiting for the natural process of air drying to take its time to maximise the life of your rug.

At LAKELAND RUGWASH, we are focused on providing rug cleaning services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

We will do everything we can to meet your expectations and we’re sure you’ll be happy working with us.

Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.

We hope to see you again! Check back later for new updates to our website.

LAKELAND RUGWASH

Rugs are carefully cleaned and then air dried in special drying rooms whilst our unique tagging system ensures safe tracking of your rug during its time in our care.

Rugs are returned carefully folded, labelled and enclosed in a transparent bag with just the right amount of air space to allow your rug to breath. Perfect for storing but please be sure to ventilate the bag if you intend to store in it for any length of time.

The waterproof properties of your new rug will withstand several washes before it needs to be reproofed. This is always dependent on how many times your horse rolls in the soil and mud, of course, and sunlight too slowly breaks down the waterproof properties.

Only you know whether your horse is dry underneath its rug. However, if you are unsure, we advise you to reproof rather than risk a leaky rug.
